We carry THE BEST SELECTION of High Quality ORGANIC Baby Apparel, ORGANIC Plush Toys, and Award-Winning Safe Wooden Toys!  Many of our collections are uniquely HAND-MADE and are extremely adorable. Absolutely perfect for baby showers and gifts for every baby!  

We started Organically Baby to answer the needs of friends and family who are concerned about their children’s health and safety due to the seemingly endless reports and recalls of children’s products. 

We are absolutely committed to the safety of our customers and take into serious consideration how each product is made.  We ensure that our products are manufactured under strict safety measures and are sweat shop free.  We also carefully examine which country the products are manufactured.  Currently our products are made in Egypt, India, Thailand, Peru, and the United States.  At present we do not carry any products made in China or with materials sourced from China.  All of our organics are 100% certified by the world leading organic certification programs such as SKAL and The Control Union Certifications B.V. in The Netherlands.  Those certifications are considered even stricter than USDA Organic.   

We strive for sustainability in regards to the environmental impact of our products’ manufacturing process in addition to the health and well-being of the people who make them. We only support manufacturers who will not use child labor or harmful chemicals in their production processes.  All of our products are made with great care in FAIR TRADE facilities.

Owner Profile: 

Takae and Travis Thompson started Organically Baby as a wife and husband team to bring people the best selection of high quality organic baby apparel and safe toys. We want customers to know who we are and how passionate we are about our mission to bring values to our customers. 

Takae has M.B.A. from Babson College, M.F.A. from Chapman University, and B.A. from Seijo University in Japan. Travis also holds an M.B.A. from Babson College and a B.A. from Westminster College   

From The Owners: 

We created Organically Baby while in our second year of Babson College’s M.B.A. program.  From our earliest brainstorming sessions, our goal was to create a company built around a principle of ethical sustainability.   

Rather than creating a new mouse trap to sell on late night television, we wanted to create a business that would benefit the people involved throughout the products’ life cycle.   

Moreover, we believed the benefit should go beyond the usual arguments that are made by companies employing people in impoverished countries.   Providing employment to people is all well and good, however, the financial benefits often come at a great cost to the health and welfare of those same people, whose governments don’t have the power or resources to regulate dangerous pesticides or unsafe work environments.  

The benefits of Organic Cotton and Fair Trade Certifications and regulations opened the door for us as entrepreneurs to bring the benefits of pesticide-free, and low/no impact dyes to the most vulnerable of all people, our children.   

We believe that Organically Baby provides the best Organic Baby Clothes for discerning consumers who don’t want to trade safety for style.
